It’s interesting to me how few people follow up. I’ve been told (here in elbow-sharp NYC) I’m a highly determined person. I’ll make the call and send the email — many, many times if necessary. I need business and lots of it. That’s always going to include some rejection. It’s usually not personal. It’s unpleasant, but that’s a separate issue.
